It is so important during this time at home that we offer physical education for our learners. We will do our best to keep updating this page to offer new and exciting "workouts" for you at home. Anything posted here can be done from standing or modified seated positioning. Most importantly... have fun!

This is a wonderful video talking about how to incorporate exercise, sensory breaks and music/rewards into the lives of people with ASD. In this video, they talk about setting up a corner of the classroom to facilitate these techniques, but you can set up a corner at home to do the same thing! Run time is 10:18 minutes, but the real nitty gritty of it starts about about 1:20 minutes in.

Why not "do a marathon" with your learners and keep track of your daily physical activities on this daily tracker! Marathonkids.org is a great resource for adaptive physed ideas, have fun exploring their website, print your activity log and before you know it, your learners will have done a marathon!
